Lisa M. Palladino

Lisa Marie (nee Mertens) Palladino 97, of Whiting, passed away Sunday at Fountain View Nursing Home in Lakewood. Lisa was born in Cuxhaven, Germany in 1915 and came to the United States as a young girl in 1923. She lived Jersey City and met her husband John Dominic Palladino Jr. in the late 30's. Lisa worked during the war years and raised her family in Fairview, She lost her husband John in 1963. She moved to Cedar Glen Lakes, Whiting in 1991 and was a homemaker and a member of the Garden Club at the Lakes.

Surviving are her two sons John and Raymond Palladino. A daughter-in-law Debby Palladino, four grandchildren and their spouses, Lucann and Anthony Conyers, John Francis and Cheryl Palladino, Jeffery and Tony Palladino, and Jevon Lake. Also surviving are four great grandchildren, and one great great grandson.

Visiting hours for Lisa will be Thursday from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM, with the funeral service at 3:30 PM at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Road, Whiting, NJ. Burial will be Friday at 1 PM at Fairview Cemetery in Fairview.
