I'm so thankful for our years of friendship and the good old times we had; especially Bible Study and Bessie, monthly dinners with our friends and most of all our shopping trips to Metro North.
We couldn't come home till you had your cappachino and me my coffee.
Ed would meet us in the yard when we arrived home as though we had been gone an eternity.
    Until we meet again - I love you Kathryn.

Kathryn was one of the joys in our services at Leisure Park.  She was all that so many of the other notes said.  Sunflowers, smiles, laughter and lover of the NY Mets!  Many a happy moment spent with her!  Many a prayer shared too! Knowing she is with our Lord and Savior makes the "see you again" easier to say.  We will see you again Kathryn and oh what a day of rejoicing that will be!

I was so sad to read the obituary about your mother.  I remember all those times that Cathy and I spent with you and Laura at the small lake our families went to for day trips in the summer.  Also remember the times we all were at your home in JC. Kay even hosted my bridal shower!  You mother was a sweet, intelligent, kind, loving woman, and I know you and your family will miss her, and I will too.

Linda, Thank you for letting me know about your mother's passing.  My sympathy goes out to everyone in the family -- I know that this is a difficult time.  I have been traveling a lot this winter and was in Florida for a few weeks the end of January through mid February.

Whenever I think of your mother, I smile because I have many fond memories of time spent at your house in Jersey City.  Laura and I were at your home frequently during our high school years and your mother and father always made me feel welcome.  It was fun to visit then and also as the years went by -- it was always a pleasure to see your mother.

Please know that the entire family is in my thoughts and prayers.

We were sad to miss the funeral but were there in spirit. We are so glad that we saw Grandma a final time and will always hold her in our hearts.

Dear Grandma,

You were the most special and kind-hearted grandma I could ever ask for. You were nice to everybody that you met and always made sure everybody was happy and comfortable.  For the entire 20 years I ever knew you, you only yelled at me once, and it was because I kept throwing my ball around the room after you already asked me to stop many times.

I remember when My mother and I used to stay at your house down in Whiting.  I have so many fun memories, like when we shopped on the boardwalk or swam at the pool.  In fact, I remember my interest in sewing began because at night I used to watch TV and poke around in your sewing box.

You were so cool - I don't know anybody else that grew up on a farm in Kansas, was a WAC in WWII, drove a pick-up truck or loved sunflowers like you.  I wish I could go back in time and be on the boardwalk with you, because as a child I didn't appreciate it as much as I do now.

I love you so much and I'll remember you forever.
