Mr. Julius Caesar Bee, 89, beloved husband, father, grandfather and United States Air Force and Vietnam Veteran, entered God’s kingdom on 9 January at Community Medical Center in Tom’s River of natural causes. Mr. Bee was born in Brooklyn, NY to Willie Bee and Daisy (Wilson) Bee.

Mr. Bee lived a life of Service. He served his country, his community, his God, and his family as a role model and leader for his entire adult life. As a young man, he enlisted in the US Air Force in the early 1950s where he became a Military Police Officer and Security Forces warrior. His military service included a tour in the Vietnam War and service in Africa on United Nations missions. After military life, he joined the Manchester Township Board of Education as a bus driver, THE bus driver, for 36 years. He then was a substitute driver for another nine years. Mr. Bee was a positive impact on the lives, character and safety of our children for multiple generations. It was extremely difficult to go anywhere in Whiting or the surrounding area without seeing someone who would yell “Mr. Bee!”… invariably one of his former “kids” who remembered him fondly. Mr. Bee was an active member and past Deacon of the Whiting Bible Church.
Julius is survived by his wife, Thelma (Richardson-Dant) Bee, and had five children, twelve grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. His parents, Willie and Daisy, grandson Adam, and great-grandson, Ebin, preceded him in death.
