He worked at Hyatt Roller Bearings and retired after 30 years as a foreman for General Motors at the Tarrytown Plant, in NY.
Born in Perth Amboy, he moved to Keyport and attended Keyport schools and Perth Amboy Technical School. He joined the Army National Guard and served in the 50th Armored Division after Basic Training at Fort Dix. He was stationed at Fort Knox, Kentucky and achieved the rank of Staff Sargent before receiving an honorable discharge after 6 years. He then met and married his loving wife Barbara Ann nee Lewandoski and resided in West Keansburg for 34 years. In retirement they lived in the Poconos for many years then moved to Tropical Harbor FL where he became involved in the in the Fishing Club, the Mustangs and the Military Clubs. They then came to the Cedar Glen Lakes section Whiting.
His Life was his family. He enjoyed camping, attending NASCAR races with his sons, sons in law, and grandsons and later granddaughters. He loved going on cruises his favorite being the Alaska cruise.
George is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Barbara and their 4 children, Karen M. Morse, George M. Morse & his wife Karen, Kathleen M. Moran & her husband Robert, and Adam E. Morse & his wife Stacey. He is also survived by sisters Betty Lou Greene, & Ruthann Etzkorn and his brother Robert Morse. Also surviving are his 10 grandchildren Jonathan, Kaitlyn, Kimberly, Kyle, Nicole, Georgie, Courtney, Jake, Maddie, and Emily, 3 great grandchildren, Isabela, Mackenzie and Lucas.

A visitation for George will be held Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Road, Whiting, NJ 08759, followed by a services from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
