George was born on January 11, 1936 to George A. and Elinor Bruder in Louisville, Kentucky. He was an Army Veteran and worked as Superintendent of Mechanical and Electrical Systems, Monmouth College (Monmouth University), West Long Branch, N.J. and retired from DLB Associates Consulting Engineers PC in Ocean Township, New Jersey. He was a Communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church and a Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus. He will always be remembered for his great engineering mind and his love of woodworking, but most of all for being a loving husband, father, and grandfather “Opa”.
George was predeceased by his parents and loving wife of 58 years Patricia M. Bruder. He will be greatly missed by his daughter Nancy Bruder-Moore and her husband Stanley of Toms River, N.J., son Dr. George A. Bruder, III and his wife Dina of Mount Sinai, N.Y., and West Palm Beach, F.L., brother in-law Dr. James Mack and his wife Alida, grandchildren Collin Jay and Richard James Bruder, Cameron Moore and his many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home located at 115 Lacey Road, Whiting, NJ 08759. A funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, April 10, 2023, at 10:45am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R.C. Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Manchester Township, followed by a burial in Whiting Memorial Park.
