Bruce Seeley

Bruce “Moose” Seeley, 77, of Whiting, NJ, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Deborah Heart & Lung Center in Browns Mills, NJ. Bruce was born and raised in Newark, NJ. He attended Oliver Street Elementary School and East Side High School.

Bruce worked as a bus driver at Stout’s Transportation driving the senior citizens to and from supermarkets and other stores.

He enjoyed going to Atlantic City casinos, the horse racetrack and loved watching football, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Bruce is predeceased by his parents, Bruce & Bertha Seeley; his brother, Edward Seeley; and his sister, Isabel Reilly. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Loretta; his daughter, Dawn Murphy of East Brunswick; his stepson, James Bucci and his wife Kathy of Roseland, NJ; and 2 granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Ashley. He is also survived by 6 sisters, Lena Vazquez, Geraldine Roselli and her husband Gerard, Patricia Smeltzer and her husband Michael, Rita Gray and her husband Michael, Arlene Seeley and Diane Brady; 1 brother, Harry Seeley and his wife Deborah; and many nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 4 to 8pm at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Rd. Whiting, NJ. Social distancing & masks will be enforced to keep all safe. A Funeral Service will be held at 7pm. Private Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bruce’s memory to Deborah Heart and Lung Center, 212 Trenton Road, Browns Mills, New Jersey 08015.
