Audrey was born in Detroit, MI and grew up in Montclair, NJ. She was a devout Christian from age 10. She loved the Lord and served Him with her talents from her youth in churched wherever she lived. Audrey was a French hornist with Bloomfield Civic Band, Bloomfield Symphony and Montclair Operetta Orchestra. After retiring to Whiting in 1985, she became the Director of the Crestwood Chorus for 15 years and was s frequent guest soloist for local organizations and churches. She was also and assistant conductor, soprano soloist and French hornist with the Crestwood Symphonette and played in the Georgian Court College Band. One of her favorite Bible verses was Psalm 104:33 "I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; i will praise my God while I have my being."
Audrey was predeceased by her parents William C. and Florence Marlow Wells of Detroit, MI; her loving husband Warren G. Wells; and her beloved son Craig Alan Turner. She is survived by her loving daughter-in-law Janice Turner of Forked River, NJ; her grandson Mark Turner of Forked River, NJ; step-sons Jeffrey Wells of Oregon, Russell Wells and his wife Lea of Honolulu, HI and Chris Wells of Canada.
