Steven R. Bowden, age 67 of West Bloomfield, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014. Loving husband of Keri for over 15 years, dear father of Adam (Andrea) Bowden and Steven Bowden, Step-father of Matthew Melton, Christopher (Christina) Melton, Mark Melton, Bradley Melton, grandfather of 7; brother of Sherri, Sandy, Sue and Gary. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews. Steve proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the VFW and the DAV. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Rd., White Lake, Michigan 48386. Rev. Jack Baker will officiate followed by military honors performed by the United States Army. The family will receive visitors on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
