Shirley Norline Stimson

Shirley was born in Michigan and was the daughter of Delbert and Edna Barkley. Shirley graduated from Lakeshore High School in 1954 and retired after 19 years as a Patient Insurance and Financial Advisor for Providence Hospital. She was a member of Faith Covenant Church and enjoyed motorcycling, reading, traveling and cooking.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Delbert. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Billy Stimson; her daughter Kathryn Hanna (Stimson); her son Thomas Stimson, her grand children Adam Brown, Sarah Richardson (Brown), Torrey Stimson and Taylor Stimson as well as her great grand children Abigail Richardson and Charlotte Brown.The memorial service for Mrs. Shirley Stimson will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Faith Covenant Church, 35415 W. 14 Mile Rd in Farmington Hills, Michigan. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of memorial donations to either the American Diabetes Association or the Arthritis Foundation.
