Shirley, A. Hammond, age 74 of Commerce Twp. passed away October 18, 2014.Beloved wife of John M., loving mother of Mark (Cindy), Jim, John W., and the late Karen Fagan; grandmother of 8; sister of Kathleen (Bob) Mansell, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Shirley was the past president of Union Lake Eagles, and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Mikado. The funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday October 21, 2014 at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Rd., White Lake. Visitation will be on Monday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:30 am until the time of service. Interment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
