Richard Stanley Sherman, age 93, formerly of Dearborn Heights, MI and Wilmington, NC, was born August 2, 1920 in Lexington, MI and passed away January 8, 2014. Richard, an Army Air Corps Veteran, was a pilot and a P.O.W. during WWII. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie. Loving father of Kristie (Frank) Kava, Janice (Steve) Pearson and Richard Guy (Loretta) Sherman. Proud grandfather of Frank, Timothy, Lauren, Lee and Will. Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. at the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Rd., White Lake.
