Nancy Elaine Trecha was honored to be the first human to cross the rainbow bridge and be welcomed to heaven early on September 28, 2024 by Shep, Dylan, Sam and so many other of her dearly loved fur babies.
Nancy often said she wanted her gravestone to say, “I tried.” Anyone who was lucky to share a meal at her table or simple time with her knows Nancy more than tried, she succeeded. To know Nancy was to know unconditional love, support and the kind of person that made you want to do better and be better.
Nancy was a Friend of Bill W for over 45 years. She helped many others in their journey and even hosted gatherings in her home to support the mission. Her friendships formed there are nothing short of magic.
Nancy’s life was well lived and she leaves a legacy of her much loved children John Joseph (Kristin), Michelle Mitchell (the late Mark), Anthony (Luljeta), Mike, and Steven (Deborah). Along with her pride and joy her grandchildren Jacqueline, Laura, Alexandra, Mark, Anna, Michael, Sophia, Catherine and Chloe.
