Mildred Martha Benson

Beloved wife of the late Charles. Loving mother of Greg (Deb) Benson, Carl (Kim) Benson, Paul (Andrea) Benson and the late Richard (Genette) Benson, Gary (Valerie) Benson and Janet (Ernie) Hamm. Grandmother of Kim, Diedr'e, Jeff, Tanya, Kristina, Shane, Brent, Derek, Chad, John, Charlette, Sarrah, Kathy, Clayton, Laura, Haley and the late Chris. Great- Grandmother of 23 grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Sister of Caroline Keup and Curt Falk.

Mrs. Benson was a charter member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church since it was established in 1957, and was the church organist for over 60 years. She enjoyed dancing and met her beloved future husband Charles at the Arthur Miller School of Dance, they later married on June 18, 1953. She taught piano from home for 65 years and even had the pleasure of teaching some of her grandchildren how to play. Millie loved music and dancing and will be forever missed by her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30am on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 7979 Commerce Road in West Bloomfield. The family will receive friends at church on Saturday from 10:30am until the time of service at 11:30am.

Entombment will take place at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens.
