Melinda Marie Summerville

Melinda “Mindy” Marie Summerville, age 51, of White Lake, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital in Commerce Township. Left to cherish her memory are her loving son, Sawyer Summerville; her mother and step-father, Judy and Virgil Murdie; her three brothers: Travis Summerville, David (Katy) Murdie, and Michael (Kelly) Murdie; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

Mindy was born October 25, 1972, the daughter of Mr. Larry Summerville and Mrs. Judy (Fornier) Murdie. Throughout her life, Mindy worked as a massage therapist; a profession she became very passionate about. Her career took her all over the country, she often migrated to places with warmer weather, like Myrtle Beach, and even to places like the Bahamas and the Caymen Islands. In her free time, Mindy could always be found working on one of her many crafting projects, spending quality time with her wonderful son, Sawyer, or caring for her beloved dog, Max. Mindy was a wonderful woman who will be dearly missed.

Mindy was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence “Larry” Summerville; her Aunt Alana Meyers; her Aunt Renae Murdie; and her dog, Max.
