Mary Jane Gass, age 82 of Commerce, born on January 13, 1928, passed away January 11, 2011. Loving wife of the late Dale Gass; dear Mother of Pamela Perkins, Lori (Doyle) White and Kevin Gass; Grandmother of Kristin (William Magliano) Perkins, Angela (Greg) Penzel and Jordan White, Great Grandmother of Maxwell and Natalie Simon and Madeline Penzel. Beloved Sister of Betty Kohn, Patricia Schlink and Barbara Hornbeck. Mary was born the 13th of 16 children. She leaves behind many other loving relatives. A special thanks to the staff at West Hickory Haven in Milford for the great care she received. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black and Son funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Rd., White Lake. The family will receive visitors from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
