Beloved wife of William for over 60 years. Loving mother of Micki (John) Holland, Bill (Lora) Holcomb, Jr., Jil (Rob) Golden and Andy (Lisa) Holcomb. Proud grandmother of Nick, Drew, Noah, Madison, Allison, JJ, Louise and Amanda. Treasured great-grandmother of Jordyn, Evie, Delphine, Shepard, Henry and Brewer. Sister of Earl (Gloria) Lowen, Tom (Barb) Lowen, Don (Gail) Lowen, Lonny (Kay) Lowen and Dawn (Gene) Brauninger. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Eileen Lowen along with two brothers, Kenneth and Edward Lowen.
Mrs. Holcomb was a long time employee and manager of the Oakland Community College bookstore. She was also a florist for many years as well. She was an avid reader and writer and enjoyed gardening, painting and crafts. Her greatest joy came from the love and care she gave to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be very much missed by all.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00pm on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road in White Lake. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00am until the time of the service at noon.
