Himes, Marie Joyce, age 88, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2012 in Commerce Township. Beloved wife of the late John S. Himes. Loving mother of Linda (Richard) Kornatowski, Laura (Gary) Contesti and John M. Himes. Proud grandmother of 7, great-grandmother of 7 and great-great-grandmother of 2. Visitation will be held Wednesday September 12, 2012 from 3-8 pm at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road, White Lake. Funeral service will be held Thursday September 13, 2012 with an In State from 10 am until the time of the service at 11 am at the Commerce United Methodist Church, 1155 North Commerce Road, Commerce Township, where she was an active member.
