She was born June 11, 1930 in Amherstburg, Ontario Canada to Olive and Leo Beaudoin. As a child she enjoyed growing up on a farm with her parents, six sisters and two brothers. She was a graduate of Hotel Dieu School of Nursing in Windsor, Ontario. She met Dr. Anthony A. DeBin of Windsor, Ontario, and in November, 1954, the two were married. Shortly after, they emigrated to the United States and started a family, residing in the Detroit area. Together they had five children of whom she is survived; Kathleen L. DeBin, Lauren A. Campbell, John A. DeBin, Richard L. DeBin, and Gary J. DeBin, and four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. A long-time resident of Farmington Hills, Marie enjoyed gardening, reading, and taking long nature walks, but her greatest joy in life was her children and grandchildren. She was a devoted mother, always kind and selfless towards everyone. She was a compassionate and caring nurse who was well-like by her patients and colleagues at Botsford Commons Skilled Nursing Center. She will be remembered always and dearly missed.
