Margo passed away peacefully at home on April 23, 2022 with the comfort of her Jim by her side.
She will be very much missed by all. Margo was known as a beloved Mom, Grandma, Gigi and friend to many. To family and friends who knew her best, Margo will be remembered as joyful, vibrant, fiery, carefree and kind.
Margo grew up in Union Lake, Michigan and was raised with her brothers Danny and Art Willett.
Always considered a “good” friend to those she knew. Margo enjoyed a broad group of friends during her lifetime. While growing up, her best friend was and still is Linda Webb. Their friendship began when they were 5 years old.
Margo had a strong Christian faith and enjoyed getaways "up north". It was a chance for her to renew and relax, to visit new places and experience new things. She enjoyed trips to Sandy Shores Campground, Silver Lake, MI with her beloved Jim (and dogs Ivy and Chyna) where she met and truly enjoyed a wonderful group of new friends. She also enjoyed Michigan's upper peninsula, Paradise, MI, Whitefish Point and St. Ignace to collect rocks, and a recent cruise around Pictured Rocks with her daughter, Kim.
Margo had been retired for several years and recently embarked on a new life and love with Jim Kirn, where she found true happiness. Her new life involved relocating to West Bloomfield, MI to live with Jim. In retirement, she found new pleasure in online and thrift store shopping and lunching with friends and spending time with her loved ones. She and Jim enjoyed recently updating their bathroom and kitchen.
Simply stated, Margo was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Margo leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Margo.
