Celebrating the life of Gerda Anna Margareta (Jansson) Lundquist who went to be with Jesus her Savior January 24, 2015 at age 95. Born in Eskilstuna, Sweden, she immigrated to the USA with her parents at age four. She is preceded in death by her husband Bror Eric Lundquist, her brother Rune Jansson, her daughter Katherine (Lundquist) & son-in-law Gary Konow. She is survived by her sister-in-law Faye (Kloenhammer) Jansson; her son John & daughter-in-law Carolyn Ann (Schmidt) Lundquist; her daughter Ann (Lundquist) & son-in-law Jim Rogers. She was and ever will be deeply loved by her extended family both in Sweden and in the USA including her nephew Clay (Sue) Jansson; niece Cindy Deska; eleven grandchildren [Kristina (Konow) & Mike Willyard; Ingrid Konow; Britta (Lundquist) & Jason Wofford; Erica (Lundquist) & Josh Saperstein; Niklas Rogers; Kirsten Rogers; J.Mikael Rogers; and Markus Rogers] and four great-grandchildren [Michael Willyard, Kara Willyard, Atticus Rogers & baby-on-the-way Wofford]. During this life she gave praise and worshipped in faith at Orchard Lake Community Church and Mt. Zion Temple in Clarkston and was a core leader in Community Bible Study, establishing many dear & lasting friendships. She loved spending time with her family, studying her Bible, playing tennis & golf. Visitation to be held 2:00PM – 7:00PM, February 3, 2015 at Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road, White Lake, Michigan. Final Viewing to be held at 12:00 Noon, February 4, 2015 at Mt.
