

Peg was born in Detroit, Michigan, on March 27, 1927. She graduated from Cooley High School in 1945 and received a BA in Gerontology from Madonna College in 1985. She married the late William R. Robinson, D.O. in 1949, and they raised their family in the Westacres subdivision in West Bloomfield, MI.
Peg worked at Oakland Community College, Highland Lake Campus, in the botany and geology labs for 10 years and was a certified Master Gardner. She was active in many Westacres organizations, including working as an editorial staff member of the Westacres Weekly. She was an accomplished amateur painter and loved to travel, visiting Europe, Greenland, New Zealand, Australia and Israel. She visited the town of Fraserburgh, Scotland, the birthplace of her parents William and Martha Summers, many times.
She is survived by daughter Ruth Robinson D.O. and son-in-law Sebastian Vogt of Annapolis, MD, daughter Joan Robinson of Mannheim, Germany and son Fred Robinson of Southfield, MI. She also is survived by her grandchildren Marianna Vogt and Alexander Vogt as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Her Life memorial service will be held in early spring.
