Kenneth U. Navarre, age 88 passed away on October 22, 2024 in Luzerne, Michigan. He was born on February 5, 1936 in Monroe, Michigan to Urban and Helen Navarre. Ken attended Visitation Catholic High School in Detroit. He was a proud United States Marine Veteran. Ken was an entrepreneur who created many businesses throughout his life. Established Navarre Inc., dba Michigan Motor Exchange in 1983.
Ken volunteered for Pontiac Transportation Museum, Meals on Wheels, Eucharistic Minister at hospitals, and Hurricane Ian relief in Florida 2022 He has been a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in White Lake, MI for over 50 years. He was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 13319.
Ken founded Men’s Fellowship at St. Columbkille Catholic Church in Florida, and also the Men of Integrity Men’s Fellowship at St. Patrick’s. He was President of Michigan Automotive Academy, Awarded Engine Remanufacturer of The Year

(Step) Jeremy (Heather) Scott, Samantha Scott (Elliot Von Rohr), Krista (Christopher) Doyle, Marlayna (Evan) West; Great Grandchildren of Georgia & Arianna Karpathios, Raphael & Benedict Navarre, James, Nora, and Lena Navarre, Kyber, Sabine, & Mara Breda, Zeno, Estrellita, & Aveline Summers, Isabella Summers, and three more due in the coming months; brother of Patricia (late Thomas) Diskin, late Jane (late Charles) McQueen, Jean (late James) Nicholson, Kathleen Huffmaster, late James Navarre, Connie (late Timothy) Hutchinson; also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am (In state at 9:00 am) on Monday, October 28, 2024 at St. Patrick Church, 9086 Hutchins Rd, White Lake, Michigan 48386. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Saturday, October 26, 2024 and on Sunday, October 27, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Rd., White Lake, Michigan 48386. The Knights of Columbus will lead a rosary on Sunday at 4:00 pm at the funeral home. Rite of Christian burial will be in All Saints Cemetery in Waterford, Michigan.
