Joseph was so graceful and polite as he seated customers  at Dave and Amy s. He was well liked by the. Co workers and customers.  He watched tge tables and made sure everyone was seated promptly at a clean booth.  He loved football, his friends , family and Co workers. It s just a sad shame.

Joseph was a nice boy, I've known him since kindergarten, and while there were times where we weren't the nicest to each other, we always were aquainted fairly well. I will miss him and his welcoming presence very much.

There are no words to say at this time that will help take away the hurt and pain that you are going through. Please know that I am praying that God will comfort you and give you some kind of peace that only He can give. I will continue to pray throughout the holiday season and after as well.

Joseph was a ray of sunshine to work alongside with. On the days that I would come in to manage, he would sit in the office with me while I got ready for my shift. He’d fill me in on the latest work gossip, give me updates on how the football teams are doing, and make snarky remarks about the things that happened on his hosting shift- they never failed to make me cackle. In the two years that I had known him, I had the absolute pleasure to watch him become more confident, ambitious, and hard-working. He had a heart of gold, and will be missed tremendously by his Dave and Amy’s family.

Anytime I was with Joseph he always had his big smile on his face whether it was in school, work or even when we were at the fair and he was puking after every single ride. It didn’t matter what he was doing or who he was with he was always smiling, and always made sure everyone else was smiling too. I’ll never forget the nights he would just text me randomly to make sure I was okay or when we would have our 3 hour face time calls just so he could help me with my school work when I was struggling or the work nights where we would just go mess around in the back with my dad. It didn’t matter what I was doing because anytime he was around I didn’t stop smiling. During school I always looked forward to walking by you everyday after 1st hour and looking at each and saying hi. Its only been a couple days and I still cant process, it feels like a dream, hoping one day i’ll just see you appear and for this to all be fake when in reality it’s not. Theres so much I wish I could’ve said to you before you left. 
Don’t stop shining your contagious smile up there Joseph. I love you Jojo

I had the greatest pleasure of working side by side with Joesph for the last two years every weekend morning. Every shift we worked together, was full of smiling and laughter despite whatever chaos was going on in the restaurant. Joesph was like our little brother that we all loved so so so much. I will forever cherish our talks and the constant jokes he would make. He found so many ways to connect to our customers, which was above and beyond his job title. He will always be in my heart, always.

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I remember from the first day my daughter told me that Joseph wanted to work with us that I would love this kid. Joseph, you were such a great friend to my daughter, and also a friend(little brother) to me as you would share everything going on in Avery’s life with me. The fact that you would rarely leave my side at work, even when you should have been doing your job, meant just as much to me and the guys in the back as it did to you. Anytime I asked you to cover, you would ask if I was going to be there, and you would stay. You would poke fun at me because of my love for butter, and nicknamed me butter boy, and I loved every minute of you. You were a great young man. You will be deeply missed. I love ya dude. Can’t believe this. Love ya dude.

Joseph loved people. He wanted everyone to like him and he never wanted to be left out of anything. Everyone may not have liked him but if they  took the time to know him, they found out what a great guy he was. He was generous kind, helpful and filled with love. My son would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it and he expected nothing in return. I would like to thank everyone for their condolences and their donations. It's amazing to see just how many peoples lives he  touched.

We are so very sorry for this profound loss. Our family is praying that yours can find comfort and that God wraps His loving arms around you.

When I think of him, I think of that smile. The times I saw him, I always saw that smile. And it sounds like that is a common thing people are saying about him….that smile. Words can’t accurately express all that I want to say. My thoughts and sincere sympathy are with your family during this devastating time. And although nothing can take away the massive heartache of this tremendous loss, may some comfort be found when thinking of that smile.

To Joseph's Family,
As a former LHS parent, and a mom, we are heart-broken & devastated he did not return home.  The entire community was praying & hoping.  Shock & disbelief don't even come close.   
We are praying for strength for your family, his LHS football family & classmates as you all navigate the unfathomable days ahead.   May you feel the love of the community, his friends, classmates & teammates.

Joseph was a classmate of mine, and we had Algebra II together this year. I remember how often he’d be smiling or laughing with friends. Having known him since third grade, I wish I spoke to him more and gotten to know him a little better. I am so, so sorry for your loss. May Joseph live in paradise 🕊️🕊️

I’ve known Joseph since I was little, Camille,Claire, Lucas, Joseph and I and sometimes the snells boys would all like to play and hangout. There were many occasions we played hide and seek, tag, went swimming, etc. there wasn’t a day that we weren’t all hanging out and I will always look back at those memories. I’m truly appreciative of everything, and all the memories. He truly made the all of the neighborhood kids childhoods great, it wouldn’t have been the same without him.
