It is very sad to hear of Joan's passing. I worked with Joan in the library at OCC. She was a very loving and kind person.  I will miss her. With deepest condolences.

May her memory be eternal. I had the pleasure (and I mean real pleasure) of working with Joan in a library setting. She was such a joy! Her sense of humor and kindness will be remembered for the rest of my days. My condolences to her family & loved ones. She was a true gem. See you on the other side, my Friend.

I was so sad to hear of Joan's passing. I worked with Joan for a few years at the Auburn Hills campus of Oakland Community College. I remember our frequent discussions of her family, her many road trips, and her love of gardening.  She was such a great mentor and friend. Joan will truly be missed. 

It is very sad to hear of Joan's passing.  I worked with her for a number of years at Oakland Community College (OCC).  She was a long time adjunct faculty member in the library and later, stepped into a full-time faculty position in a time of need.  Joan was a compassionate and skilled librarian and a very good colleague.  I continue to value Joan's many contributions to OCC and the students we serve.       

Joan was so welcoming to me, when I came to the Auburn Hills campus library. We'd often talk plants, and I think of her when I water the ones in my office. One of them she gave me. I am so very sorry for your loss,

I was so sad to learn of Joan's passing. She was one of those people with boundless energy that I thought would live forever. I will be forever grateful to Joan for the parenting and career advice she imparted to me. More than ever, she loved her family. Please know how often she talked about and loved her entire clan.

Joan always shared freely the best stories and laughter. She would tease me that I had to be a good driver since she discovered that I was one of her students for drivers' ed. at Milford High School. I loved when she would talk about the driving to  Alaska. I had the wonderful pleasure to work with her for many, many years here in the library. Memories of her always bring a sweet smile to me. Bill, may angels wrap you in their wings during this most difficult transition.

Bill our thoughts are with you and the family.  Joan had a big influence on my children and myself.  She was a great Drivers Ed instructor with the patience of a saint.  I thoroughly enjoyed our years of working together and sharing in the academic adventures we were involved in.  She was a great listener, cheerleader and full of sage advice.  Working with her was enjoyable and there was always some knowledge she would share with you.

So sorry for your loss, I waited too long to get together with her by waiting for Spring. Bless you.
