She was born in Detroit and spent her entire life in Orchard Lake. She worked at her father's store (Batchelor's Market) to Keego Harbor for many years. At 18 years old, she met "the love of her life" Kenneth Howell. They married and had three children. He preceded her in death in 2012.
In her younger years she belonged to a garden club, bowling league and her BINGO parties. She was happiest at their cabin in Lake City. The greatest love was her family.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter's Pam (Dan) Hiatt of Gaines, Michigan and Janice (Russ) Helgemo of White Lake, Michigan. Nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, parents, siblings, infant son and son Kenneth "Brian" Howell.
Our family would like to thank Pleasantry Senior Living and PARC Hospice for the loving care given to our mom and our family for the past few years.

A private family memorial will celebrate the beautiful life at a later date.
