It's with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David George Mroz II, a devoted husband, father and friend, who left us far too soon. Dave passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025. He was the cornerstone of his family, a steady presence who held his family together with his strength, love, and unwavering support. Dave had a deep passion for sports. He found joy not only in the games themselves but in watching his children play, cheering them on from the sidelines with pride and enthusiasm. He was their biggest fan. An avid outdoorsman, David found peace in hunting, where he could embrace the quiet of nature and share stories with friends.
David had a remarkable ability too bring humor into any situation-always knowing just when to crack a joke to lighten the mood. His quick wit and well-timed quips could lift the spirits and turn even the toughest days around.
Above all Dave was the rock of his family. He led with quiet strength, always putting others first and ensuring that those he loved were cared for and supported. His presence was a source of comfort and stability, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife Stephanie; his children Nathan and Alyssa; his mother Lynn Mroz, his siblings Heather (Mark) Carrigan and Christopher (Melissa) Mroz. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, March 28, 2025 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 9086 Hutchins Rd., White Lake, MI 48386. The family will receive visitors from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary service at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Rd., White Lake, MI 48386
