Cheryl Anne Ponagajba

Cheryl Anne Ponagajba of White Lake, passed away August 20, 2022 at 61 years of age after a year of courageously battling cancer.

Beloved wife of Gary John. Loving mother of Gary Daniel Ponagajba, Christopher John Ponagajba and Katie Lynn (Ryan) Paschen. Treasured daughter of June and the late William Ogden. Sister of Daniel (Kelly) Ogden, Jackie (Rick) Ogden-Cunningham and Billy (Dawn) Ogden. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Cheryl was the owner and operator of TRU Salon Spa in Commerce Township. She was an active participant with NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) and gave of herself whenever there was a need. She was a great mentor who had an authentic soul, kind heart, and magnetic personality. She had endless compassion and love for her family and friends. She lived with a selfless determination to help those in need and her unbounded kindness touched the hearts of so many. She will be truly missed by all - but her memory and enduring love will carry on and continue to make the world a better place.

A celebration of her life will be held at the Ponagajba residence from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM Saturday, August 27 for family and friends.
