I was so lucky to be able to spend time with Uncle Buff, and Aunt Sandi. I loved staying over-night with them, when I was young. Visiting them was like a fairy tale. Aunt Sandi and I would go to the day old bread store to get a bargain. Then she would take me shopping to get something special.
 I always remember Uncle Buff as a Gentleman, and very polite. One day I was out in his back yard playing, and a Twin neighbor boy introduced himself to me. He asked me to go bowling later. I said sure. He showed up at the door, and Uncle Buff said, I didn't know anything about this. My Sister would get very upset if I let my niece go on a date. Well, I was very red faced, since the boy had his bowling shoes on and his bowling bag in hand. Love you Niece Kathy

Bufford & i hunted a lot together he sure enjoyed hunting we hunted togather before he went into the army & in mi. while on strike at Gm. I helped him landscape his lawn's at his last two homes he was a very hard worker he & sandie visited us several times at our farm in mi. we went and visited them every time we went to mi. since I retired in 1991 Bufford was always smiling& his blue eyes just sparkled I missed his smile at his in his coffin.

I remember going to visit Uncle Bufford & Aunt Sandy. They had a dog named Snookie that Aunt Sanday always told to be nice to his cousins. Uncle Bufford was so friendly, always smiling and seemed so tall. I loved sitting and listening to him and dad talk about the old days and all the things they did when growing up. He will be missed by the family.

Uncle Bufford was special to me as he gave me work at a young age and also taught me many things.  We would take breaks and lunch together where he shared his life experiences.  I loved working with him and remember this funny thing which I now teach my children and wife LOL.

It was raining one day which meant we worked inside the house.  I was sweeping up, very fast because I thought that was how it was done.  Uncle Bufford came in and saw what I was doing and yelled at me."what are you doing, you are getting all this dirt underneath the base boards and cabinets.  Sweep slow he said.  Nice and steady and I have been doing that now for more that 40 years and he was right.  Sweep nice and slow.  Whatever mess you have created will be better cleaned that way.

I remember going to visit Uncle Bufford
And Aunt Sandy at their home and also Uncle Bufford coming to Mamaw and Papaw Hensley's to visit. I remember wondering why a man so tall would want to drive a car so tiny ha ha (slug bug)....
You were loved by many and will be missed. I will always remember you and Aunt Sandy.
