Barbara A. Proulx of Lincoln, Michigan, passed away April 10, 2023 at 81 years of age.
Beloved wife of the late Donald. Loving mother of Dawn (the late James) Zielinski, Susan (Jeff) Hargis and the late Donald Proulx. Proud grandmother of Sara (Mike) Krause, Ryan Perry, Luke Hargis and Zach Hargis. Treasured great-grandmother of Zoe and Lawson. Sister of Bonnie (Larry) Baker, Lynda (the late Dick) Shorr and David (Lydia) Lucas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Barbara enjoyed taking long walks with her sister at Lost Lake Woods, golf and playing Mahjong. She and her husband had wintered in Arizona and later enjoyed their winters at the Villages in Florida. Barbara loved warm weather and looked forward to cocktail hour where she would enjoy good times with family and friends. She will be very much missed by all.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, April 14, 2023 at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road in White Lake. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00am until the time of the service at 2:00pm.
