William Allen Cox

Bill married Judith “Judy” Lee Sauer in 1957 and after fifty-five years of marriage, Judy preceded Bill in death in 2012.

Bill had a successful stint in the Navy and a twenty-five-year career as an Aurora Police Officer.

Bill is survived by his brother, Donald Cox (Kathy); his four children, Tracie Dunlap (David), Keo Donohue (Pete), Quint Cox (Sheila), and Wade Cox (Heidi); six grandchildren, John Hultquist, Eric Donohue, Megan Stickney, Conner Donohue, Joseph Cox and Lucille Dunlap; eleven great grandchildren, Patrick, Jacob, Lucas, Caleb, Anika, Kaylee, Jack, Beau, Gracie, Cassius, and Noah.

A Memorial service for Bill is scheduled for Friday, August 2nd, 2024, at St. Pius X Catholic Church – 13670 E. 13th Pl., Aurora, Colorado. The Eulogy will be from 9:45 to 10:00 am; a Mass from 10:00 to 11:00 am. There will also be a celebration of Bill’s life in the basement of the church at 11:30 am.
