Virginia Marie Wilson, age 96, of Lakewood, Colorado passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023. Born in Denver, CO, Globeville neighborhood, Virginia attended Garden Place Elementary, Horace Mann Jr. High, and North High School through the 10th grade. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur, in 2005 and her son, Larry, in 2022.
Virginia is survived by her sister, Vera Heidenreich; 4 sisters-in-law, Ruth Wilson, Letha Crom, Mary Ann Croissant and Lorene and Chuck Achziger; 2 daughter-in-laws, Deborah Wilson and Trish Wilson; Harvey, Ron and Dale Wilson; six grandchildren, Amanda Wilson, Heather Jacobson, Jennifer Mancuso, Natalie Wilson, Paul Anguiano, Paige Bronk; six great- grandchildren, Alex Wilson, Nicholas Mancuso, Oliver and Sofia Monserrate, Brooklyn and Berkeley Bronk.
A visitation for Virginia will be held Friday, June 30, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 7777 West 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. A funeral service will occur Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, 7777 West 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. A reception will occur Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, 7777 West 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. A graveside service will occur Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM, 7777 West 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
