Tu Luong 梁小英

Our beloved mother, Tu Luong, was born in 1932 in Canton, China.

Her parents immigrated to Vietnam with her and her siblings during World War II.

She married Ung Lan Lu, a printer, in Saigon, and they had four children, two sons and two daughters. In 1986, she immigrated to America.

She has eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She will always be remembered as strong-willed, intelligent and quick to show kindness to others, willing to help anyone in need, with a strong love for family, relatives and friends.

When she attempted to escape Vietnam the first time in 1982, she was arrested by the communist authorities and placed in a reeducation camp, spending nearly a year in confinement.

Even though she was facing difficult times, she was still helping others, never asking anything in return; as an example, there was a child in the camp who was suffering from illness, difficulty breathing, and she immediately produced a bottle of Chinese balm oil and rubbed it into his chest in order to restore breathing, thus saving his life.

Upon successfully arriving in the United States, (1986), she was reunited with her husband and children.

Mom loved to cook, (grocery shopping was her specialty) and she was praised for her culinary expertise. She often invited her friends to share meals with the family; she was also fond of going to dinner with her family and many friends to various restaurants around Denver.

She also loved to travel, returning to Vietnam with her adult children multiple times, as well as a cruise with family and friends to the Caribbean, and trips to California and Las Vegas with her family - a pastime which she enjoyed immensely.

She led a very rich and fulfilling life.

We all appreciate her love and the everyday virtues she taught us.

Loved by everyone in the family, she will be forever missed.

故人生平

我們親愛的母親 梁小英，出生于1932年6月2日，是中國廣東省高要縣人，由於中日戰爭爆發，跟隨父母逃難到越南，後來與勞應麟先生結婚，生下兩男兩女，于1986年移民來美國，内外孫共有八個、曾孫三個。

母親的個性，一向都很堅强、思想敏捷，爲人心地善良，和藹可親，樂意助人，除了愛惜家人，也對親人朋友多加照顧，在逃離越南時，未獲成功，被困在勞改營，就算面對艱難的環境，仍然願意幫助人，例如：有一個婦人的兒子因爲突然呼吸困難，她就立即用僅有的藥油救了小孩的性命。

來了美國之後，與丈夫同心照顧家庭，養育四個兒女，當兒女成家之後，就悉心照顧孫兒孫女。

母親的興趣是烹飪，喜歡自己買菜，她的厨藝也是衆人所稱贊，時常與朋友聚餐，她交游廣闊，喜歡與朋友旅行，兩年前與兒女、朋友游船河，囘越南探親，她非常開心享受。

母親身體一向都很健康，直到去年十一月身體漸走下坡，進出醫院多次，因年紀關係，抵抗力衰弱，最後在2025年4月2日在醫院離世，當時兒女、孫輩、親人、朋友都在身旁。

她的一生都過得既充實又豐富。

身爲兒女，我們非常感謝母親的養育之恩，我們永遠懷念她。
