Susan Dotsch Crew

Susan Dotsch Crew, 63, of Littleton, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly on January 29, 2023 due to an aortic dissection. Her family takes comfort in knowing her death was instant and peaceful. Born on July 24, 1959 in Escanaba, Michigan, Susan was raised in a loving family as the third of five siblings. During her time at Golden High School, she excelled academically and met the love of her life and future husband. She then attended Colorado State University, where she studied marketing and formed many lifelong connections.

On August 30, 1980, Susan married her soulmate, Matthew Crew. They lived a happy and socially active life for five years in Los Angeles, California, before moving back to Colorado and starting a family. Susan gave birth to their first child, Lauren Brittany Crew, on February 14, 1986, followed by their second child, Kevin Matthew Crew, on December 21, 1988.

Raising Lauren and Kevin was one of Susan’s greatest passions. While devoted to her children, she also cherished many important friendships and worked alongside Matt, supporting his medical billing business. Later in life, she continued her career in medical administration and was highly regarded by her colleagues. The birth of her grandchildren sparked her latest passion, and she dedicated much of her time to being the best "Gigi."

Susan was a loving individual with contagious, vibrant energy. She touched many lives with her compassionate and caring nature. She is survived by her husband Matthew, daughter Lauren and son-in-law Brian, son Kevin and girlfriend Lauren, granddaughter Emery, grandson Jackson, mother Marcella, brother Jim, and sisters Mary Jo, Lisa, and Diana. She is predeceased by her father, Allan.

A memorial service will be held on February 17, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Christ on the Mountain Catholic Church in Lakewood, CO.
