He was born in Clemenceau, AZ, on October 22, 1932. He was married to Margaret Gallegos Perez on December 28, 1952. He had a career working on the railroads for Burlington Northern Railroad. He had a passion for singing and playing guitar. He was a fan of baseball and boxing. He loved his home teams, but his favorite team was the Dodgers.
He is survived by his siblings, Robert Perez and Sandra “Chagua” Crespin; his children; Barbara Rodriguez, Juanita Molinar, Johanna Goya, Julie Stein, Dianna Castro, Solomon Perez, and Mark Perez; his grandchildren; Caleb Rodriguez, Nain Rodriguez, Georgeanne Hernandez, Christopher Hernandez, Jacob Black, Mikey Stein, Margaret Altamirano, Jessica Castro, Julian Castro, Solomon Perez Jr., Stephanie Ramirez, Natalie Perez, Michael Perez, Naya Perez, Eliav Perez and Yared Perez; and great grandchildren, George Hernandez, Chloe Herandez, Aria Hernandez, Jaya Ramirez, Leah Ramirez, Isabella Ramirez, Luka Perez, Arturo Altamirano, Camilla Altamirano, and Estrella Altamirano.
