Siegfried F. Seemann "Sig"

Sig was born in Concordia, Kansas on March 2, 1941 to Louis Gerhart Seemann and Christine Louise (Margreiter) Seemann. He and his family lived in Kensington, Kansas, until they relocated to Boulder, Colorado when Sig was 12. Sig attended both Boulder High School and Kensington High School. He graduated from Boulder High School in 1959.

Sig attended The University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado, and Fort Hays State College in Hays, Kansas. He graduated from CU-Boulder with a Bachelor’s degree in Business-Finance. After graduating from university, he worked as a National Bank Examiner until retirement.

Sig met his wife-to-be, Susan Talley of Madill, Oklahoma, on a blind date to an outdoor ice-skating rink. They were married in December, 1965.

Sig and Susan had two children, Christi Lynn and Brian Talley.

He is survived by his wife, Susan of Lakewood, his daughter, Christi of Longmont, his son, Brian of Denver, his grandson, Lindsey of Longmont, his sister, Sonja of Wichita, Kansas, his brother, Rod of Fairway, Kansas, and several nephews, nieces, cousins and an aunt.

A perfect day for Sig would be waking up in their motorhome in the mountains, riding motorcycles and Jeeping over high mountain passes to tall peaks, flying model airplanes in open meadows, grilling dinner with his secret spice blends, cooking s’mores over an open fire and playing family card games -– all while being with his whole family and close friends all day long.

We love you and miss you, Sig - Dad - Pops. You are forever in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Sig on Monday, November 13, 2023 at 1:30 pm at Olinger Crown Hill’s Pavilion of Reflection located at 7777 W. 29th Avenue in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
