Ruth was born January 19, 1928.
Ruth was married to Martin for 71 years.
She was dedicated to her family and was a life-long early childhood educator. She loved singing and playing the piano and loved the mountains.
She was the wife of Martin VanDyke, mother of Carol & John Overbeck, Lynn & Mike Van Hofwegen and Laurel & Darrell Olson, grandmother of Matthew and Curtis Olson, Melissa and Christina Overbeck and Katia, Sara and David Van Hofwegen, great grandmother of Kody and Raimee Olson, Cedric and Quinn Olson, Zealyn Overbeck, Rio and Remy Bruxvoort, Miles and Levi Rusch Van Hofwegen and Luca and Ezra Van Hofwegen.
Her friendly spirit and faith in God will be remembered by all who knew her.
