The youngest child of Frank Carney and Marion Fornelli, Rosemary was immensely proud of both her Italian and Irish heritages.
Rosemary’s life-long devotion was tending to the well-being and unity of her family. She organized birthday parties, family picnics and holiday celebrations. Until impaired by a stroke, she liked playing cards, solving word games and very much enjoyed reading. A venerate and candid storyteller, Rosemary was the orator of family history who laughed easily and heartily. Rosemary was fortunate to have lived a full and engaging life.
She will be lovingly remembered and heartachingly missed.
Rosemary is survived by her six children, Martin (Kim), Joseph, Anthony, Carla Tanda (Dale), Nicholas and Camill Christy (Mark-[deceased]), along with seventeen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Carl Calomino and four siblings: Dolores Cashman, Betty Ann Gordon, Francis Carney and Bernadine Carney. Their half-brother Phillip Carney lives in Colorado.
