Roger Carl Brown

Roger Carl Brown, 72, of Westminster, Colorado, peacefully passed away on January 11, 2024 at St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, CO surrounded by loved ones. Roger was preceded in death by his brother Ricky Brown.

Roger was born on August 11, 1951 to Jessie Marion Brown and Robert Brown in Denver, CO. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1969. After high school, Roger worked many years as a carpet cleaner and as a clerk at King Soopers.

In 1982, Roger met Lucy Beckmann and they were married for over 40 years. Roger and Lucy adopted many cats and dogs over the years, their fur babies.

Roger was a Denver Broncos fan and in his free time enjoyed putting together model cars. Roger and Lucy loved taking road trips to the Colorado mountains, especially the Grand Lake area. They enjoyed listening to live bands at the many beautiful parks close to where they lived. They also spent time together by going to the movie theater. Roger had such a positive attitude even when he was not feeling well due to his decline in health.

Roger is survived by his loving wife, Lucy Beckmann; his sister Janet (Dale) Walker; Lucy’s siblings and many nieces and nephews.
