I'll never forget growing up living nextdoor to Bob. In the summer time he'd be out working in his garden, a ballgame playing on the radio. Suddenly I'd hear the grinding sound of an icecream machine starting up. And when that sound stopped I knew it wouldn't be long and Bob would be bringing me a bowl of the best homemade chocolate icecream I have ever eaten. Thanks for the summertime memories, Bob. You will never be forgotten. 



My very first memory of Bob is about right after we moved next door to him. My two oldest children, Billy and Erika were looking out of the bedroom window facing Bob's driveway when I heard them giggling. They came running to me and said " mommy, there is a man outside working on his (purple) truck and he's making faces at us.
Bob loved working in his yard taking care of his roses and irises. In the summertime you could hear his ice-cream maker going on the back porch and a ball game on the radio he was listening to. To my children's delight, he always share his ice-cream with us. So, it was no surprise to hear a knock on our door and see Neioma (his first wife) standing there with a freshly made bowl of ice-cream. We love you Bob.

I have known Bob my whole life. I grew up living next door to him and his first wife, Neioma. I have fond memories of playing with their grandchildren, hearing the baseball game coming from his radio as he worked outside on a hot summer's day tending to his many roses and irises - nobody could grow roses like Bob! If the whirr of the icecream maker came on in the afternoon, I knew I was in for a treat! Bob worked for the dairy and would make homemade icecream from the fresh cream of the day and he shared it with us. He also liked to tease and I remember if I was over at his house he would come into the room wearing a funny hat to make us laugh! I can't hear the theme song to the Price Is Right or Johnny Carson without thinking of Bob, as they were two of his favorite shows. Bob is truly unforgettable and will be missed by many.

Uncle Bob always made the best homemade ice cream  all the time love you I will miss ya love Donna ❤️ 

I remember all the time watching you and all the sports even tho I really didn't like golf it puts me to sleep it was fun..and I remember when you made Brandan and alot looking for Christmas gifts on the floor for no reason...I'm gade I got to call you our grampa..best thing was is your ice cream you made and always had to have a bowel every night..we will always miss you..

My father taught me the work ethic. He missed one day in 40 years as a milk man working for KarlsFarm Dairy. That was the blizzard of ‘82. His gardening was second to none, he had the best yard in the area. If he wasn’t working, or sleeping, he was in the yard working. Always put more into the earth then he took out.  Also made the very best ice cream in the world

My dad was a great man. He loved us very much. He taught us allot. He provided for us. He will be missed allot. It won't be the same without him. We are glad he us in heaven, happy and out of pain.
