Robert Stuart Briggs, 71, of Wheat Ridge, passed away on February 11, 2024. Bob was born in Miles City, Montana on October 18, 1952 to William and Almira (Roebling) Briggs, who preceded him in death.
During his youth, his family moved around the USA with Shell Oil until he was in the 9th grade, when they settled in Golden Colorado. Bob graduated from Wheat Ridge High School in 1972. After graduation Bob started working for Kunz Construction, where he met many lifelong friends. During this time, Bob met Debby McCafferty and they were married in 1978. Together they have two children, Matthew (Kelsey) and Tyler (Danielle) and are blessed with 6 grandchildren, Holly, Alice, Ronan, Holden, Lisa and Stuart. During Bob's career he worked all over the United States and the Middle East, including Afghanistan and Hawaii.
Bob retired in 2014, and enjoyed traveling to shoot sporting clay tournaments and riding his Harley. His favorite hours were spent with family.

A celebration of Bob's life will be on March 2nd, in the Pavilion of Reflections at Crown Hill Cemetery at 10AM with a reception to follow.
