Richard D. “Dick” Adamson, age 80, passed away August 17, 2016. Dick was born May 19, 1936 in Evanston, Illinois. He was retired from the United States Navy and White Crown Federal Credit Union, where he served as President and on the Board of Directors. Dick was a member of the Bailey VFW post 8661. He is survived by his children Kathy (Steve) Rummel and Ron (Sue) Adamson; grandchildren: Rob (Melissa) Simmons, Jason Adamson, Kristi (Troy) Adamson, Matt Rummel and Nick (Irene) Rummel; great grandchildren: Shayla, Aliza, Kindra, Noah, Gigi, Ivy and Tris and his siblings: Joann (Mel) Decker, Art (Julie) Adamson and Rod (Cindy) Adamson. Dick was preceded in death by his wife Patricia; son Rick and sister Pat Rooney.
Graveside service will be Monday, August 22, 2016 at 11:15am at Fort Logan National Cemetery, staging area “C”; please arrive to the staging area around 11:00 am. Donations are preferred to Lambert Wright Roy Post #8661 Bailey, Colorado.
