Patricia Olivia Betts

Patricia was welcomed into the world on February 8, 1940. She was born in Denver Colorado to Erma (Sorensen) and Clarence “Pete” Balderston. Pat graduated from Denver East High School in 1958. After graduation she became a Certified Nurse Assistant. She met her husband, John Betts through John’s sisters and her best friends whom she met in seventh grade, Joyce, and Jeanette Betts. John and Pat were married in 1962 and had two children, Christine, and Elizabeth. Pat was active in her church and sang in the choir. Pat was also a member of the Social Order of the Beauceant. She enjoyed traveling with her daughters. She especially loved her visit to the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. She would always win the trivia competition if the questions were about Classic Country. Pat passed from this world on October 16, 2022. Pat was preceded in death by her brother, Bryan, and daughter, Elizabeth Hudson. She is survived by sister-in-law and lifelong friend, Joyce (Betts) Weyers of Denver, daughter, Christine of Denver, grandson Robert of Colorado Springs and family members son-in-law Bob Hudson, and grandchildren Brooke and Koby Hudson. She was loved by all who met her and will be missed. Graveside services for Pat will be Tuesday, October 25 at 10:30 a.m. at Crown Hill in Wheat Ridge.
