She enjoyed her time as a beautician, cutting hair for those who sought out her skills and those who didn't. She went back to school to become an Interior Designer and then taught Interior Design at Emily Griffith Technical College. She always kept her home stocked with food to cook for an army and you better be ready for seconds. If it was a holiday then the family was spending it together and you knew that her kitchen was the place to be, surrounded by the best home cooked meals a mother could make for her hungry family. The love she put into these meals was only matched by the taste once the feast had begun. Each meal was accompanied by funny and memorable stories of everyone's past including hers. You could find her most days at any antique shop looking to add to her collection of depression glass. Later in life she became a mortgage broker with her daughter Kandra and they took the housing market by storm. President of her HOA she transformed Concord Townhomes into an amazing place to call home.
Nancy is survived by her brother John, sister Sue, her children Kandra and Kristy, her two grandkids Brandon and Alisha and her great granddaughter Harper.
