Mildred Johnson, known affectionately as Millie, of Lakewood, CO passed away Sunday, April 7th at the age of 93. Born to the late Michael and Mary Lagrimanta on March 22, 1931, in Salida, CO, Millie grew up alongside her three brothers and four sisters. She married Walter Johnson on August 1, 1953.
Millie was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She was strong, intelligent, and full of love for her family and friends. She accepted everyone she met with a loving heart, open arms, and a perpetual smile. Millie will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Millie is survived by her four children: Mark Johnson, Cindy Dombroski, Walter Johnson, and Matthew (Flora) Johnson. Six grandchildren: Angela, David, Jennifer, Erin, Kayla, and Steven, as well as eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by parents Michael and Mary Lagrimanta, husband Walter Johnson, two sisters Lucy Corelli and Lena Gray, three brothers Ralph, William, and Frank Lagrimanta, and grandson Chris Dombrowski.
