Born, January 17, 1940. He went home to heaven on June 21, 2014. He is loved by many and will be greatly missed by his wife, Dora Padilla; his sister, Eunice (Mike) Ariza; brother, Tony Padilla as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Amalia (Valdez) Zarate; his stepfather, Alex Zarate; sisters, Lina Estrada and Josie Mestas and his brothers, Alex Padilla and Sal Padilla. He will live in our hearts forever. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 29, 2014 from 5 to 6pm followed by a service beginning at 6pm at Thrive Church. A funeral service celebrating the life of Mike will be held Monday, June 30, 2014, 10am, at Thrive Church, 2820 W. 92nd Ave., Federal Heights, CO 80260. Interment will immediately follow at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery.
