The best part about playing hockey on Thursday was when Mike was playing. Wether I was in the opposite net, blocking shots for him, or taking shots on him the skate was always perfect. There is not another person I would want to play hockey with more. His positive attitude, and competitive play was something I looked forward to every week, even when he robbed me of a goal. Thursdays will never be as bright as they were when I had the pleasure of playing hockey with Mike.

Mike, 
Thank you. Thank you for being a friend, a mentor and the best damn partner anyone with a badge could ever hope for. In your own kind way you helped shape my career; I will always be grateful for your influence. When things are going well, I remember your laugh and countless firehouse shenanigans. When things are tough, I remember your grit and passion for giving everything. Your balance of skill and character are an example that we will always point to in setting the standard for Westminster Firefighters. Your legacy is one of kindness, professionalism and fun.  Your reign as Paramedic of the Month will be timeless.  

Outside of the station, you taught me to be a dad and husband. Your love for Codi and your girls is an example to which we all should strive. All those chats over beers and while riding the “call train” were so important - it was the best advice any new husband and father could ever have. Family is such an important part of who you are, and you can rest well knowing your brothers will always be here for the Rosados.

Our sincerest thoughts, prayers and love❤️ I met Michael and Codi while dating his Dad. Michael was at the hospital when his sister Toni was born. He was such a kind , sincere and genuine person who was a friend to anyone he met. He always made time when we were in town and I’ll always remember and cherish the time Michael invited his sister and me to the firehouse. It is a memory of time spent together that we’ll never forget!  We  love you Michael and we’ll miss you❣️

I am so sad to hear this news. I always enjoyed talking and laughing in the dispatch center during those graveyard nights at APD.  You were a good friend and I have many fond memories of you.
May everyone’s memories keep you alive in our hearts.

We will all miss him here at St. Anthony's ER! I will always remember that smile and sweet personality. When he arrived with a patient in the ER he always had a smile on his face and you could tell he loved life and his job. Such a kind spirit. He will greatly be missed! It's with a heavy heart I write this message.  I've been fortunate and blessed to have crossed your path and shared memories.  I will forever remember your kindness and gentle spirit. I work in the Fire Administration Office, my first time meeting Mike was  his first day with the department.  Mike and I were on the medic unit licensing team, for a few years it was just us, as the department grew and things changed we realized we needed more help, Mike made sure I  had a part in the selection process to add a third member to our team.   Mike was the epitome of a Paramedic, so kind and compassionate, it was impressive to see him in action.    My deepest sympathy goes out to the Rosado Family, I was so honored to have  known Mike, he made the  Westminster Fire Department  an even better place to work.  May God grant you his PEACE. at this most difficult time.

I knew Mike by being a volunteer at Fire admin.  Whenever Mike would come into fire admin he would always stop and speak to me. He would say hello, ask me how I was doing , Thank me for being there, and he always remebered my name. Then every now and then I would see him at the grocery store and again he would say hello and again used my name.  He was one of the few who remembered me and, I was so impressed that he did this.  I am very sad to here of his passing. And will be keeping him and his family in my thoughts and prayers.

I had the distinct honor and pleasure of working with Mike on several
projects. Although the meetings were always laced with laughter and generally a great time, that didn't disguise his intelligence and commitment to his task. Mike was obviously a great man with so much to give . I shall miss you my friend . Prayers and blessings to your family, may you find eternal happiness. Rest easy my brother, we shall take it from here .

I am broken by the very sad news of your passing. First met you in the dispatch center in 2000. As a coworker, we had some fun times. Being older, I embraced you as another of my dispatch children. With your fortitude and hard work, you left us to become a member of the Westminster Fire Department. I was so proud of you. And even though we didn't spend a lot of time together, your spirit touched mine and I have always kept you close to my heart. I was so excited to see you at our reunion dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory earlier this year. I never shy away from taking a picture with those I love. I will miss you forever and keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Till we meet again.
