Mary Elizabeth Welty, age 91, passed away August 4, 2015 in Westminster, Colorado. Elizabeth was born April 9, 1924 in Greeley, Colorado; she grew up there and attended North High School. Elizabeth and her late husband Clayton built a farmhouse on their farm in Broomfield, where they lived throughout their marriage. Elizabeth enjoyed living on the farm and taking care of the animals, she was always a strong, independent and self-sufficient lady. Her hobbies included a love for traveling, bowling and shopping. Elizabeth is survived by her daughter in law Christine Welty, granddaughter Sondra Lewis, great granddaughter Katrina Dickman and her husband Dennis and her niece Donna Meyers. She was preceded in death by her mom Walborg Plumlee, her husband Clayton, and her son Steven. Cryptside service will be Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery.
