Mary was born on September 26th, 1941 in Derby, Colorado to Dorothy and Paul DeJulio. As a mother of four, Mary could be found ringing the bell to call her kids in for dinner, making treats for the kid’s classroom parties, and being the “cool” mom that everyone wanted as their own. After her children went to college, Mary created a successful real estate career on her own.
Mary loved people and making them happy. She was never short of a smile, and captured the inner child spirit in everyone she touched. She defined the word joy by her charismatic personality and love of life. People were drawn to her positiveness and ability to bring out the best in everyone she met. Mary raised her four children to be children of the Lord, strong, independent and confident. They, in turn, then passed those traits down to their own children. She revered the Lord, and left her mark on the world.
Mary is survived by her four children, Terri, Kris, Sandi (Adam) and Matt (Brigitte), and her seven grandchildren, Brittani, Marcus, Jason, Justin, Christian, Giselle and Capriana.
Mary’s spirit lives in us all, and will always be a guiding light for the future. Our Lord tells us to trust in Him and be comforted that Mary is in a better place, always shining her light down on us.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” - 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
