Martin was married to Ruth for 71 years.
He was a lifelong chemistry professor. He loved fishing and hiking in the Colorado mountains. He loved God and his church family.
He was the husband of Ruth VanDyke, father of Carol & John Overbeck, Lynn & Mike Van Hofwegen and Laurel & Darrell Olson, grandfather of Matthew and Curtis Olson, Melissa and Christina Overbeck and Katia, Sara and David Van Hofwegen, great grandfather of Kody and Raimee Olson, Cedric and Quinn Olson, Zealyn Overbeck, Rio and Remy Bruxvoort, Miles and Levi Rusch Van Hofwegen and Luca and Ezra Van Hofwegen.
His positive spirit and his love for life will be cherished by all who knew him.
