Mark D. Christy

October 27, 1959 - June 5, 2020

Mark was born October 27, 1959, in Casper, Wyoming to David and Joyce Christy. Mark graduated from Worland High School in 1977 and enlisted in the Airforce in May 1978 where he held an Airmen Certificate. Moving later to Denver, Colorado where the journey of Mark's life truly began.

In May 1980 Mark met Camill Calomino and in April 1981 they moved to Worland, Wyoming where Mark went to work for McGarvin and Moberly. Mark began his voyage of parenthood and marriage to Camill in 1982.

Mark relocated in Sept 1984 back to the Denver area where he attended Colorado Aero Tech 1984 - 1985, A & P Mechanic and Metro State College 1986 - 1988, Studies in Aviation Management. From 1987 – 1994 Mark was employed as a Mechanic for Continental Airlines. Career changes happened for Mark from 1994 – 1997 but, with Mark’s wits, strong work ethic and drive to provide, he stared adversity in the eye and beat it back with a bucket and trowel.

Mark is survived by his wife of 37 years, Camill Christy, three children; Lindsey, Meghan and Kyle, two grandkids; Amelia and Thaddeus, three siblings; Joy Lass, Kelly Christy, Tracy Christy, along with extended family members, sisters-in-laws, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Life is a treasure; Love is a gift to be treasured and grief is the gift we pay for love.

Mark’s Celebration of Life Ceremony will be Saturday June 26, 1:30 PM at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary, Pavilion of Reflection, 7777 W. 29th Ave. Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
